Nelia and her husband Oleksandr are helping relocated people who have fled from bombing and shelling attacks in Kharkiv to adapt in the village. To help the displaced people from Kharkiv have enough food, Nelia gives them a big garden patch and planting seeds, where they plant potatoes and vegetables.But the newcomers are not ready for hard physical work on the land, and the harvest is beginning to fail. Will they be able to find a compromise, save the vegetable garden and their relationships?

Director: Halyna Lavrinets
Halyna Lavrinets is a Ukrainian director and cultural manager. She was born in Kaniv, Cherkasy region, in 1991. After getting a magister’s degree in Karpenko-Karyi Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema, and Television specialty “Directing a documentary film”, she studied Wajda School (PL), documentary program DOC PRO, 2016-2017.
Halyna is a member of the Directors Guild of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Film Academy. Since 2015 member of #BABYLON’13 —documentary collective.
